Attorney Jerry L. Schnurr III founded Schnurr Law Firm, P.C. in 1986 with a clear mission: to pursue justice and serve the people of Fort Dodge with honesty, compassion, and skill. A proud Iowa native, Jerry returned home after law school to open a solo practice where clients receive direct, personal legal counsel—never handed off to junior staff or paralegals.

Jerry Schnurr is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law and has over 35 years of experience practicing law across multiple areas, including personal injury, workers’ compensation, estate planning, and real estate law. He’s widely recognized for his leadership, professionalism, and client-first philosophy.
